Here's the (nearly) finished Pirate Costume! All that's left is the attachment of one cuff and nine buttons
I ended up changing the pants completely, since the camel toe on the other one's was just horrible, with little to do to change it. Instead, I've got a striped silk fitted pants, hemed to just below the knee.

Actually, this is one of, if not the, cooler (Temp wise) costumes I've ever worn. While the coat is heavy, it is also very open with wide sleeves. The coat only really touches around the bust area and up.
Underneath it is just a light linen shirt and silk shorts.
Your detailing is great! It's naval without looking like every single other pirate coat.. This coat eats them for elevensies.
